About Cheese Choice
For Evert, cheese began as a hobby that got out of hand. He grew up next to his uncle's farm, where he spent much of his childhood. There he learned to milk cows by hand and experienced what hard work meant. After 15 years in another field (pastry), he returned to his love of farm products.
Fascinated by these products, Evert traveled to many cheese makers at home and abroad to discover why these products are so special. In France, he learned the art of cheese maturation.
A master of cheese: Maître Fromager
With 30 years of experience, rewarded in 2017 with the title of "Maître Fromager" at the top of a mountain in the Jura, Evert has established himself as a true cheese monger.
His dedication and passion for the craft led him to this recognition, which is a testament to his knowledge and skill in the cheese business.
Global reputation
Evert is not only a cheese monger, but also a sportsman who sees every competition as a challenge. Winning the "Concours Fromager Mondial" in 2019 was the ultimate thing a cheese craftsman can achieve.
This victory enhanced his reputation worldwide and expanded his network. Since then, he has been a frequent guest at events at home and abroad, sharing his expertise and passion for cheese.

The truffles of Cheese Choice
Cheese Choice truffles Our truffles come from top region of Italy. They offer an intense aroma and meet strict food safety standards. We offer black (Tuber Melanosporum) and white (Tuber Magnatum) truffles. Black truffles have an earthy flavor, white truffles are rare and refined. Winter truffles have deep, nutty notes, while summer truffles are mild and subtle. Our truffles are found by specially trained dogs.
